The day culminates in a screening of <strong>Enter the Dragon<\/strong>,\u00a0on the 40th anniversary of its release.<\/p>\n<p>The film lineup includes films for martial arts fans of all ages. Feature films consist of\u00a0<strong>The Karate Kid<\/strong>\u00a0(2010, 140 min.) and\u00a0two of Jim Kelly&#8217;s films,<strong>\u00a0Black\u00a0Belt\u00a0Jones<\/strong>\u00a0(1974, 87 min.) and\u00a0<strong>Enter the Dragon<\/strong>\u00a0(1973, 98 min.). The celebration also includes a rare screening of the short film\u00a0<strong>South Side Warriors<\/strong>\u00a0(Robert Wyrod, 2002, 30 min.), about the martial arts tradition on Chicago&#8217;s south side; it focuses on the late\u00a0<em><strong>Hamza Gregory Jaco<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0father of the award-winning hip-hop artist,\u00a0Lupe Fiasco\u00a0(Wassalu Jaco).<\/p>\n<p>Between the films, martial arts schools from the Chicago area will do demonstrations in the theater lobby.
